Terms of Service

CodeFE is a collection of tools and content products operated by an independent developer. It includes local tools that work without an account and cloud sync, interaction, leaderboard, and collaboration features that require an account.

A product may provide additional notices or rules. For a specific feature, a more specific and legally valid product rule takes precedence over a general description in these Terms.

Some features do not require an account. Private cloud data, account leaderboard submissions, comments, bookmarks, guestbook messages, and workspace features may require you to sign in.

• Provide an email address that can receive verification and security messages. We temporarily use the email prefix as your display name; you can change it to a nickname in your profile after signing in, and you are not required to publish your legal name.
• Use reasonable care to protect your credentials. Do not steal, sell, share, or access another person’s account without authorization.
• If you suspect unauthorized account activity, change your password and contact us promptly.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for CodeFE’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Data in local-first tools may exist only in your current browser. Clearing browser data, device failure, or changing devices may make it unrecoverable. Keep your own export or backup of important data.

After you sign in, some products automatically sync the local data needed to provide account cloud features, as described by that product; other products upload only when you actively use a cloud feature. Data scope, sync behavior, and cross-device recovery follow the corresponding product description.

We take reasonable steps to maintain cloud services, but we do not promise permanent availability, uninterrupted operation, or recovery of every item of data.

You are responsible for content you submit, publish, or process through CodeFE and for ensuring that your use is lawful. You must not:

• Publish unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise harmful content.
• Upload malicious code, attack the services, bypass access controls, abuse APIs, interfere with other users, or use automation in a way that materially disrupts service stability.
• Impersonate another person, misrepresent the source of content, or disclose another person’s private, confidential, or protected information without authorization.
• Use the services for spam, phishing, unauthorized monitoring, or other activities that harm the rights of others.

To protect users and the services, we may review, restrict, or remove suspected violating content and may limit features, suspend accounts, or cooperate with authorities when legally required.

Some CodeFE tools rely on third-party services or involve areas that require your own judgment:

• AI-generated or rule-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular situation. Review it before use.
• Finance, education, health, legal, security, and password-related tools provide general information or assistance only and are not professional advice or an absolute security guarantee.
• When using camera or motion-based features, ensure that your device, surroundings, and physical condition are safe, and use guardian supervision where appropriate.
• Supabase, cloud storage, model providers, HIBP, CDNs, and external links are governed by their own terms and policies.

CodeFE branding, logos, original designs, and content not otherwise licensed are protected by applicable law. Open-source code is governed by the license published in the relevant repository.

You retain any rights you lawfully hold in content you submit. You grant CodeFE a non-exclusive license, limited to what is necessary to provide, display, store, moderate, and maintain the services. This license does not transfer ownership of your content.

The services are provided as currently available. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features and will try to provide reasonable notice where appropriate.

We use reasonable measures to protect the services and data, but cannot guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation or that data loss will never occur. To the extent permitted by law, CodeFE is not responsible for indirect loss, lost expected benefits, or losses beyond what was reasonably foreseeable.

These Terms do not limit rights or liabilities that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.

If an account or use violates these Terms, threatens service security, or infringes the rights of others, we may issue a warning, limit features, remove violating content, or suspend the account as reasonably necessary.

We may update these Terms and will show the updated date on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith discussion.
